Pahari Shiv Mandir Barwadih – Hotels to Stay | Places to Visit | How to Reach

April 4, 2019 By admin

Pahadi Shiv Mandir

It has the temple of Hanuman and Kali on top of a hill. Below the hill is Shiva temple, where other God’s idols were placed along with Shiva. There is a historic well just in front of the temple that is used by the devotee during the Shravan month. As you walk up the stairs, you can have fun roaming here and there with wild monkeys and places surrounded by various types of trees. Upon reaching the top of the hill you will see the temple of Hanuman, which was recently renovated with the support of the villagers since this temple was too old. A few meters above it is a wireless tower for railway communication.

Kali temple can be found on the same wireless tower ground level although it is about 100 m away from there. And this is where you can see Barwadih’s entire surroundings, nearby hills and scenery. It gives immense pleasure to reach and experience a pleasant atmosphere, serenity, cool wind and calm. Barwadih Pahadi Mandir is located 1 km from Barwadih railway and 30 km from the town of Daltonganj. This temple is quite famous in nearby places and during festival days people prefer to come here.
